Binny Sharma bags a lead role in Zee TV's show

Binny Sharma, the finalist of second season of 'Dance India Dance", has bagged the lead role in Zee TV"s next show, which is yet to be titled.

The 22-year girl from Ahmedabad won hearts of thousands of dance lovers of India with her different styles of dance forms like hip-hop, freestyles, locking and popping, krumping, semi-classical, and B boying.

The bubbly Binny of 'Geeta Ki Gang" will play the female lead in the show, which is supposed to be hardcore romantic story.

Sukesh Motwani, the Programming head-fiction of Zee TV confirmed the news. Motwani said, “Yes, it"s true. Our next project will have Binny in the lead role. She is not only a pretty face but also comes with a fresh and natural innocence. She is perfect for the role, which requires energy and spontaneity".

The new story is set in the milieu of beautiful Haridwar and it will start airing from August. The new series will show her skills as an actor and not as a dancer but who knows if she can be seen shaking legs as she is known for that.

An elated Binny said, “I am very excited to hear the news. I was little upset for not winning the 'Dance India Dance" competition but bagging this role is more than a compensation for that. It"s like a dream come true for me and I will give my best to it".
