Chhavi Mittal turns naught nurse

Actress Chhavi Mittal, well known for her portrayal of goody goody Bahus on television, will be seen in a completely new avatar now. She will be performing a comedy play, “Loot"- Sab Paise Ka Khel" produced by actor Gautam Chaturvedi"s, Pine Tree Theatricals.

She will be playing the role of a naughty nurse and will be trying a number of things for the first time in the play. Mazher Sayed, Amit Verma and Chetanya Adib will be her co-actors here.

'Loot…" is a rib tickling comedy about a group of characters who run amuck, trying to get their share of the booty. The play was initially created by the brothers Amjad Khan and Imtiaz Khan. Imtiaz is directing the play although Amjad couldn"t be a part of the show, unfortunately.

Talking about her theater debut, Chhavi says, “I will be doing a lot of things for the first time right from acting in theatres to doing comedy and playing a very different kind of role that of a sexy and naughty nurse. I had previously done only serious roles and have never tried my hand at comedy. So it was a nice chance for me to grow as an actor. Fortunately I had the time to take up this venture. The only task for me was to rehearse and once I do it, I can be back on television."
