Ekta Kapoor's dream studio gets green signal?

Back in August, Balaji Telefilms found themselves in a legal tangle with RNA builders over a disputed property in Hatkesh, Mira Road. Ekta Kapoor wanted to use this property to build a hi-tech studio. Both parties claimed ownership thereby leading to a bitter legal battle. Apparently, they had also accused each other of using muscle power.

Six months later, it is learnt that Balaji Telefilms have got going with the construction of their studio. This reporter happened to bump into a local resident who claimed that construction of Balaji"s studio had begun. This individual turned to be a local civil contractor.

“Construction of Ekta Kapoor"s studio has begun. I reckon they (Balaji Telefilms) must have won the court case. A close aide of mine has undertaken the construction work. He"d informed me about this project recently. I reckon it"s been 15-20 days since work has begun on the site," said the civil contractor
