If
sex
is
considered
as
sports,
then
our
sportsmen
are
champions
at
it.
Tiger
Woods
might
consider
himself
unlucky
to
be
caught
but
no
sportsmen
around
the
globe
is
an
absolute
saint.
Cricket
that
is
considered
to
a
gentlemen
sport
too
isn"t
as
holy
as
one
assumes
it
to
be.
History
boasts
of
names
like
Shane
Warne,
Ian
Botham,
Imran
Khan
who
scored
many
brownie
points
for
their
deeds
on
as
well
off
the
field.
Indians
generally
have
enjoyed
the
reputation
of
being
obedient
sons
or
committed
husbands.
However,
the
ongoing
Indian
premier
League
might
break
that
myth.
The
IPL
3
requires
players
to
not
just
play
the
matches,
but
the
organisers
have
also
lined
up
commercial
parties
every
night
and
they
expect
a
few
(if
not
all)
players
to
attend.
A
couple
days
back,
a
newspaper
carried
a
picture
of
Australian
and
Delhi
Daredevils
cricketer
Moises
Enriques
pecking
on
the
cheeks
of
a
pretty
damsel.
If
you
thought
it"s
only
the
foreign
players
who
are
making
merry
at
these
parties,
think
again.
Our
Indian
boys
too
aren"t
to
be
left
behind.
The
one
rather
unexpected
name
that"s
cropped
is
that
of
Mumbai
Indians
player
and
Delhi
boy
Shikhar
Dhawan,
who
got
a
bit
too
excited
while
dancing
with
a
foreign
babe
at
a
private
party
held
at
a
club
in
Delhi"s
Samrat
hotel.
That
day
Mumbai
Indians
took
on
Delhi
Daredevils
at
the
latter"s
home
turf
in
Ferozeshah
Kotla.
An
eyewitness,
who
is
closely
associated
with
the
IPL,
recalls,
“IPL
parties
are
lavish
and
attended
by
whole
of
cricketers
(Indians
and
foreign
players).
Usually,
one
associates
the
foreigners
to
get
overtly
friendly
with
the
pretty
women
at
these
parties.
However,
I
was
surprised
to
see
our
own
Shikhar
Dhawan
getting
way
too
cozy
with
a
firang,
who
I
assume
must
be
one
of
these
travelling
cheer
leader
girls.
He
was
completely
oblivious
to
the
presence
of
other
individuals
and
simply
enjoyed
his
time
with
this
chic.
After
a
while
it
became
embarrassing
to
watch
him.
Well,
it
will
be
unfair
to
single
him
out
as
I"ve
learnt
this
is
a
common
thing
in
cricket."
It
may
be
recalled
that
Dhawan
wasn"t
part
of
Mumbai
Indians" first
few
games.
When
he
got
his
opportunity,
he
struck
a
quick
fire
50
that
enabled
his
team
to
beat
Chennai.
In
the
final
analysis,
guess
Mr.Dhawan"s
late
night
activities
have
only
benefited
the
side.
As
long
as
Mumbai
wins,
we
won"t
complain.
