Judge Kara DioGuardi quits American Idol

Songwriter Judge of the American Idol Kara DioGuardi has officially split after two seasons on the wildly popular show. Fox announced the split on Friday September 3 so that the news gets buried within the weekend. Commenting on the breakup Kara said that she felt like she had won a lottery when she first got the chance to judge the show two years back. She further said that she thinks this will be the perfect time for her to take a bow and leave the show for good.

Although neither Kara nor Fox specified the reason for the unexpected split, it seems that the real reason behind the spilt will be apparent within a few days. Kara looked very enthusiastic about the split and it seemed that she has taken the event in her stride. Kara said that being associated with American Idol was a truly amazing experience and she is grateful to the cast and crew of all concerned media houses for their love and support.

Kara also extended her support and best wishes to all the contestants and cast members of the upcoming American Idol Season 10. Nigel Lythgoe the boss of the show was not available for any comments whatsoever.
