KBC 4 wins the TRP race against Bigg Boss 4

Kaun Banega Crorepati 4 (KBC 4) touched the highest Television Rating Point (TRP) yesterday (October 11), leaving behind all the television shows during the peak time slot of 9 pm to 10:30 pm.

The host of the quizzing show, Amitabh Bachchan gave a grand opening to it yesterday on Sony Entertainment Television. The show hit the highest average TRP of 5 percent leaving behind Bigg Boss 4 aired on Colors with 3.4 percent.

The opening episode of Bigg Boss 4 on October 3, had managed to attain a reasonable TRPs, but it couldn't maintain its stand against Kaun Banega Crorepati. Other channels that aired fictional shows during the particular time slot, too lost out to KBC 4.

Star Plus, Zee TV and Imagine TV managed to get an average ratings of 3.2, 2.9 and 1.1 percent, respectively.
