After months of mind boggling competition in MasterChef India, hosted by Bollywood khiladi Akshay Kumar, the show finally got its first MasterChef in the form of Pankaj Bhadouria. The finale was aired on Christmas night on Star Plus.

Bhadouria won over the heart of the judges and the audience by preparing delicious dishes like Drunk Chicken Log, Cheesy Dill Salmon and Cranberry Cheese Blossom. The host cum judge, actor Akshay Kumar and his co-judges, chefs Ajay Chopra and Kunal Kapoor, voted for Pankaj as the winner of the show.

She took away Rs.1 crore as-well-as she will be hosting a cookery show and will get a chance to release a cookery book too. Pankaj had celebrated a teaching career of 16 years before taking part in the competition. She gave up her teacher-ship in-order to participate in MasterChef India as the school was not willing to grant a long leave to her.

Looks like her sacrifice has finally paid off. She has won the title of being the Master of all Chef's in India.
