Imagine
TV
on
Thursday
announced
that
they
are
ready
to
follow
the
advise
of
the
information
and
broadcasting
ministry
by
shifting
the
show
'Rakhi
Ka
Insaaf''
(hosted
by
item
queen
Rakhi
Sawant)
timings
to
the
11
pm
slot.
The
official
statement
from
Imagine
TV
stated
that,
“We
have
received
an
advisory
from
the
I&B
Ministry
that
requires
us
to
shift
the
telecast
timing
of
the
program,
Rakhi
Ka
Insaaf.
We
are
complying
with
the
Ministry"s
advice
on
this
matter,
and
changing
the
telecast
time
of
the
program
to
11
pm."
On
the
show
Rakhi
is
playing
the
role
of
the
judge
who
is
solving
the
social
problems
of
the
commoners.
But
while
judging
the
people
on
the
show
she
uses
few
harsh
languages,
which
sometimes
hurts
the
feeling
of
the
participants.
Recently,
a
young
man
committed
suicide
after
being
verbally
abused
by
her
on
the
national
television.
The
statement
adds
that
“We
have
already
stopped
all
day
time
repeats
of
the
program
and
have
advised
all
news
channels
to
refrain
from
carrying
excerpts
or
clips
of
the
show
during
daytime
hours
of
5
am
to
11
pm,
as
directed
by
the
Ministry.
We
would
also
like
to
clarify
that
we
have
not
challenged
this
Order
in
any
court."
Along
with
Rakhi
Ka
Sawant,
'Bigg
Boss
4'
aired
on
Colors
channel
also
received
notification
by
the
ministry
officials
for
violating
the
television
programming
codes.
However,
unlike
Imagine
TV,
Colors
preferred
to
move
the
court
against
the
ministry's
orders.
