Shobhna Bhabhi of Yeh Pyar...goes hi-tech

In an age, where technological advancement has made every new gadget outdated almost the moment it is out of the store, the purchase of a laptop is no big deal. However, for seasoned actress Nupur Alankaar, her Sony Vaio laptop holds a special significance. Interestingly, never in her life has Nupur ever used or bought a personal computer, but she"s now purchased a laptop. Wonder how many people have picked up laptops without laying their hand on basic computers?

“I"ve never used a computer. The last time I used a similar gadget, it was 17 years ago when I learnt stenography during my final year in college. I was good at typing. However, once I joined this profession, I never got the time to learn about computers," said the actress who is currenly seen as Shobhna Bhabhi in 'Yeh Pyaar Na Hoga Kam". Self confessedly technically challenged, Alankaar credits the social networking sites for drawing her to buy the laptop.

“I"ve started using Facebook recently. In the beginning, I checked my mails and my Facebook account through my mobile. However, the laptop has made life much easier. Though, I"m still trying to get used to the laptop keypad. That"s totally different from a mobile phone keys. Hopefully, I"ll get the hang of it soon!" Alankaar sighed.

Alankaar now carries her pink Sony Vaio proudly with her everywhere she goes, and is a regular on Facebook.
