On
a
recent
shoot
schedule,
Smriti
Kalra
who
plays
Simi
in
Zee
TV's
12/24
Karol
Bagh
wanted
to
go
for
shopping
in
the
break.
So,
she
took
off
in
a
production
car
and
spent
some
time
at
the
local
mall.
But
the
actress
was
not
aware
about
the
trouble
which
was
awaiting
her.
An
onlooker
says,
“After
wrapping
up
with
the
shopping,
she
tried
calling
the
driver
to
ask
him
to
get
the
car
to
the
exit
closest,
so
that
she
doesn"t
have
to
carry
her
bags
all
the
way
to
the
parking.
But
the
driver's
phone
kept
ringing.
On
returning
to
the
parking
lot,
Smriti
realized
that
the
driver
was
nowhere
to
be
seen
near
the
car.
She
tried
calling
him
again
and
again
the
driver's
phone
started
flashing
from
inside
the
car."
Source
goes
on,
“Smriti
got
livid
as
there
was
no
way
to
contact
the
driver
and
she
was
left
stranded
with
her
shopping
bags
outside
the
car.
After
15
minutes
of
waiting,
the
driver
appeared
casually
strolling
back
to
the
car.
At
this
point,
Smriti
lost
her
cool
and
started
loudly
shouting
at
the
driver.
In
no
mood
to
tolerate
her
raving
and
ranting,
the
driver
started
arguing
back
aggressively
and
Smriti
simply
lost
it."
“She
threatened
to
have
him
lose
his
job
and
the
driver
swung
the
car
into
action
and
drove
away
even
before
Smriti
could
get
into
it.
Poor
Smriti
had
to
find
her
own
way
back
to
the
desolate
Chatturpur
farms
where
the
crew
was
shooting.
Needless
to
say,
the
driver
was
fired
but
Smriti
had
one
helluva
shopping
nightmare
she'll
remember
for
some
time
to
come," signs
off
the
source.
