Akshay is the original khiladi; Salman Khan

Now, that it is confirmed that actor Akshay Kumar will be hosting the upcoming season of his patent show, Khatron Ke Khiladi on Colors, all the speculations related to the show have come to an end.

Earlier it was reported that the channel is considering Salman Khan as the host of the the fourth season. Salman however, recently cleared the air and told to TOI, “I have immense respect for Akshay. Akshay is and always has been the original khiladi and the format of the show suits him. I am not replacing Akshay in Khatron Ke Khiladi season 4."

Earlier it was rumoured that after Priyanka Chopra in the third season of Khatron Ke Khiladi, the channel wanted to bring back Akshay Kumar for the fourth season. However, Akshay hiked his price to 3 crores per episode, which was unaffordable for the channel and thus they tried to rope in Salman Khan for the show, meanwhile, Akshay agreed to 1.7 crores per episode and the deal was finalized.

So get ready for Khatron Ke Khiladi dose from Akshay Kumar.
