Bigg
Boss
5
participant
Mahek
Chahal,
who
is
the
latest
to
be
evicted
from
Bigg
Boss
5,
denied
reports
of
being
favoured
by
Bigg
Boss
5
host
Salman
Khan.
32-year-old
Mahek
Chahal,
who
has
worked
with
Salman
in
films
like
Wanted
and
Main
Aurr
Mrs
Khanna,
was
accused
by
ex-contestant
Pooja
Bedi
of
being
the
actor's
favourite.
Mahek
denied
the
claims
saying
if
that
would
have
been
the
case,
she
would
have
won
the
show.
"She
(Pooja)
is
a
very
insecure
person.
That's
why
she
has
been
spreading
such
lies.
She
is
a
woman
of
40
and
it
surprises
me
that
she
indulges
in
such
cheap
publicity
stunts.
If
I
was
really
Mr
Khan's
(Salman)
favourite
I
would
have
been
the
main
lead
in
all
his
films.
I
should
also
have
won
the
show," Mahek
told
PTI.
Mahek
further
added
that
she
has
known
Salman
Khan
since
the
age
of
18.
Contrary
to
previous
claims
by
other
contestants
that
audience
watch
the
edited
version
of
the
show,
Mahek
said
that
though
Bigg
Boss
5
does
not
edit
out
the
happenings
in
the
house,
they
telecast
a
shorter
version
of
it.
She
also
said
that
fellow
contestant
Sky
(Akashdeep
Saigal)
is
the
bad
boy
in
the
house.
Speaking
about
Akashdeep
Saigal
aka
Sky,
Mahek
said,
"He
does
not
respect
women.
He
can't
tolerate
if
someone
puts
forward
his
or
her
opinion.
He
will
scream,
abuse
and
emotionally
break
that
person.
That
is
his
tactic."
Mahek
has
also
done
item
numbers
in
films
like
Chameli,
Wanted,
Yamla
Pagla
Deewana,
Jai
Veeru
and
also
major
television
commercials.
After
being
locked
inside
the
house
for
10
weeks,
Mahek
is
happy
to
get
her
freedom
back
and
hopes
that
Bigg
Boss
5
will
open
new
opportunities
for
her
in
Bollywood.
"I
am
relieved,
I
finally
get
my
freedom
back.
Now,
I
will
concentrate
on
my
clothing
line.
I
hope
that
people
in
the
industry
have
got
to
know
me
better
and
my
career
will
get
a
boost
after
the
show.
I
am
waiting
for
many
successful
opportunities
to
come
my
way," Mahek
said.
