Nihita Biswas cries on Day 1 of Bigg Boss 5

Tonight will be the first day on Bigg Boss 5 as each of the fourteen contestants get into their daily routine in the Bigg Boss house.

The contestants wake up to the Bigg Boss 5 music video. Raageshwari Loomba and Juhi Parmar offer to cook breakfast for the hungry members of the Bigg Boss house. Raageshwari seems visibly excited as she has apparently taken special cooking lessons for Bigg Boss 5. The two ladies spent hours cooking as they have to prepare customised breakfast for all.

Once the morning chaos is over, the group settles down for some fun and entertainment. Rajasthani folk dancer, Gulabo Sapera grooves to some good music and also in turn teaches co-contestants Mahek Chahel and Pooja Mishra some interesting moves.

Soon, pregnant wrestler Sonika Kaliraman also joins the dance. As she grooves to the music, her baby starts kicking. Not to be left behind, Mahek Chahal and Pooja Mishra also perform item numbers.
Later in the day, as the luggage of the contestants arrive in the Bigg Boss store room, Pooja Mishra realises that her bags were missing. She is later shocked to know that the person behind her bags missing is Shonali Nagrani. Shonali was apparently asked by the Bigg Boss team as to whose luggage should not be delivered on time with the others and she named Pooja. Pooja is extremely upset as her bag reportedly contains her medicines.

Meanwhile, Captain Shakti Kapoor is called into the Confession Room to choose four women for nominations. The rest of the contestants would have to vote for the elimination of one of the four contestants. Shakti Kapoor also has to assign day-to-day household duties to each member of the Bigg Boss house.

While all this is going on, Nihita Biswas, wife of Charles Sobhraj burst out in tears as the rest of the contestants try telling her that she made a mistake by marrying Sobhraj who 44 years of age. Nihita explained that her family supported her decision and she had no regrets. As the contestants kept pointing out her mistake, Nihita Biswas broke down and began to cry bitterly.

After Shakti Kapoor's nominations are revealed, each of the contestants are asked to individually walk into the confession room and nominate two of those contestants for eviction. Each of them talk about what they feel about the nominated persons. The top two contestants for eviction are then revealed.
