Daya gets kidnapped in Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasmah

Gokuldham society in 'Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasmah' is a fun loving, peaceful society. But, recently the residents of this society have found themselves amidst an unforeseen trouble. The garb a queen of this society Daya aka Disha Wakhani is pitted against the infamous Don-Rana.

In recent past Jethalal aka Dilip Joshi had a faceoff with Chaadi gang later whom Daya (Disha Wakhani) gets arrested .Police wants the Gada family to record their statement against Chaadi gang that"s when the underworld gets involved and threatens Jetha (Dilip Joshi) to back off. Jetha realizes that he alone cannot fight against the powerful Don and resigns. But, Daya convinces him not to be effected by any threats and supports Jetha in his fight against crime. Don decides to kidnap Jetha. Daya comes to Jetha"s rescue and fights the goons to save her husband.

Upon learning this Don decides to kidnap Daya as she is the real force behind Jetha"s anti chaadi gang campaign. Daya aka Disha Wakhani will be doing her own fight sequences and will be trained by an action master.

Disha Wakhani said that, “I am very excited, thrilled and look forward to do my doing my own action sequence for this track. Daya as a character is unperturbed by any adversity in life and stands for justice always. As a character she will have a faceoff with the Don and it will be interesting to see how Jethalal wins over his fear and if he will be able to rescue his beloved wife."

Yashpal Sharma who has successfully played villainous roles in the past has been cast to play the role of Don. Yashpal Sharma said that, “I am playing a role of Don called Rana and he"s not very dangerous and the way they have written this character you might even start liking Rana"s character.

He also stated that, “I am excited to work with Daya and I have tremendous respect for her acting prowess and especially her takia kalaam –Hey Maa Mataji. I have worked with Disha Wakhani"s father in Lagaan and I am looking forward to meet her as I share a great rapport with her dad."
