Farhan-Zoya reveal secrets on Koffee With Karan

The upcoming episode of Karan Johar's celebrity chat show will see siblings Farhan Akhtar and Zoya Akhtar talking about their family secrets. The duo will speak about their growing up with father Javed Akhtar and their experience with stepmom Shabana Azmi.

A source from Mid Day says, “This is the first time that the two have revealed family secrets. KJo has sensitively brought out intimate details they would never have revealed with anyone else. When asked who was responsible for the great equation they share with Shabana today, both admit that their mom Honey Irani and Azmi together contributed to that."

Zoya Akhtar told that Shabana always gave them time and space to build the relationship between them, while Farhan told that their mother Honey Irani, kept them away from any kind of emotional baggage.

Farhan also revealed that he was very close to his mother when he was young, so he revolted when his father left Honey for Shabana, but now they share a beautiful relationship. Farhan adds that his father (Javed Akhtar) is the wittiest man he has ever come across in the world.

Zoya also spilled the beans about her brother saying that he used to fail in school and used to spend his time playing rummy with girls. She also added that she was very wild as a child and that it was Farhan who would always sort out problems with her dad.
