TRP ratings of Salman Khan-Sanjay Dutt's Bigg Boss is lesser than what Hrithik Roshan managed to get for his show Just Dance.

Hrithik Roshan's Just Dance garnered 4.7 TVR on the opening show whereas the opening TVR rating for Bigg Boss 5 was 4.25 TVR. Critics are quick to point out the difference. Not even crude jokes by Salman and Sanjay can save the show.

Moreover, the grand finale episode of Just Dance that had special appearances by Shahrukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra was watched by 97 million viewers. Whenever a contestant got eliminated, Hrithik Roshan would get emotional. Just Dance was particularly enjoyed for the 'human touch' that is somehow missing in Bigg Boss 5.
