Hrithik Roshan worth 100 crores for Star India

Actor Hrithik Roshan is worth Rs 100 crores for Star India. According to media buyers, the reality show Just Dance, featuring the dancing star is expected to fetch Star India nearly Rs 100 crores. It was for the first time that a show (Just Dance started on June 18) was simultaneously aired on Star Plus, Star One, Star Pravah (with Marathi sub-titles) and on Asianet and Star Vijay with dubbed content.

The channels have a huge faith on Hrithik's brand name as a dancer. His dancing icon image will help grab a lot of eye balls for the channels. Sanjay Gupta, COO, Star India says that the superstar could have been the best mentor for the contestants on Just Dance. It is also reported that Hrithik is paid around 2.5 crore per episode, thus making him the highest paid Bollywood star on television.

Just Dance is also being judged by popular choreographers Farah Khan and Vaibhavi Merchant along with Hrithik. Star has already locked in Maruti Suzuki and Cadbury as title sponsors for around Rs 40-45 crores. The associate sponsors include Nokia, Parle Hide & Seek, Kinder Joy, GNIIT, Alite, Pigeon, India Gate Basmati rice, Adiction and Fair and Lovely. All of them have been roped in for Rs 3 - 5 crores each. Hindustan and Midday are the print and media partner, MTS as mobile and internet partner, Red 93.5 FM as radio partner and Fame as cinema partner.

With such great plan Star India has successfully managed to create a huge buzz about Just Dance. The show has auditions around 11 cities across the globe including Bangalore, Hyderabad, NewYork and Chester. Just Dance will run for 15 weeks featuring 30 episodes.
