the
television
show
on
Star
Plus
titled
'Just
Dance'.
Going
by
the
numbers
this
dance
reality
show
is
one
of
the
costliest
television
shows
in
the
Hindi
entertainment
genre.
Though
the
producers
have
not
revealed
the
cost
of
production,
in
a
press
conference
of
'Just
Dance'
in
Mumbai
on
Monday,
there
were
talks
that
the
reality
show
costs
Rs.
3.5
to
4
crores
per
episode.
Popular
reality
shows
with
high
celebrity
quotient,
such
as
'Khatron
Ke
Khiladi'
featuring
Akshay
Kumar,
costs
Rs.2.25
to
3
crore
per
episode.
Meanwhile
other
medium-budget
shows
cost
Rs
40
to
70
lakh
per
episode,
Live
Mint
reported.
Maruti
Suzuki
India
Ltd
and
Cadbury
India
Ltd
are
the
main
sponsors
of
'Just
Dance',
which
will
simultaneously
air
on
Star
India
channels
from
this
Saturday.
More
than
30,000
dancers
have
been
screened
for
the
show
across
cities
like
Chandigarh,
Lucknow,
Jaipur,
Ahmedabad,
Delhi
and
Mumbai.
Auditions
outside
India
had
also
been
arranged
in
San
Francisco,
New
Jersey,
Los
Angeles,
Florida,
New
York,
Manchester,
Birmingham
and
London.
'Just
Dance'
was
also
promoted
with
four
music
videos
featuring
Hrithik
Roshan
with
the
participants
on
the
show.
'Just
Dance'
will
be
telecast
on
Saturday
and
Sunday
at
9pm
and
will
compete
for
TRP's
with
celebrity
shows
like
'Khatron
Ke
Khiladi'
on
Colors
and
'X
Factor'
on
Sony.
