Just Dance opens with grand 4.7 TVR

Dance Reality show Just Dance opened with a grand 4.7 TVR, last Friday making it the the highest non-fiction show opening for the years 2011. According to the TAM data, the simulcast of Just Dance on Star Plus, Star Pravah and Star One garnered 4.7 TVR reaching 25.9 million viewers watching the Star Network.

Just Dance is a platform for the dancers across the globe. The auditions for the show has been held in major cities from New York to Kolkata, giving everybody equal chance to match their steps with dancing star Hrithik Roshan. The world audition saw around 30,000 contestants participating out of which only 52 contestants were selected to rock the Just Dance stage.

Ace choreographers, Farah Khan and Vaibhavi Merchant will judge the show along with Hrithik Roshan. Commenting on the performance, Sanjay Gupta, COO Star India told that they have full confidence on the power of the show Just Dance, which will surpass language and geography.

Just Dance is aired every Saturday & Sunday at 9pm.
