Krishnaben Khakhrawala scores a century

The serial 'Krishnaben Khakrawala' on Sony TV by Neela Telefilms, scores a century by completing 100 successful episodes. The cast and crew of the daily soap with producer Asit Kumarr Modi are happily celebrating their success.

The lead actress of the serial, Indira Krishnan is totally thrilled with the success. She told TOI, “This is a social serial without much glamour. It is the story of a 40 year old woman and her uphill struggle to settle her family. Getting the eyeballs was a challenge, but I know that we have fared decent. We are connecting to the audience because they can empathize with us."

She continues saying that she feels as if she has become Sachin Tendulkar after scoring a century with the serial. She says, “I am a big fan of Sachin Tendulkar. After completing my century of episodes on television, I feel as if I too have become Sachin."

Producer Asit Kumarr Modi adds, "post 100 episodes viewers will see a different Krishnaben and another level of krishnagiri from her."
