Ratan Ka Rishta fails to garner TRPs

The current Swayamvar that is running on Imagine TV, with Ratan Rajput looking for a groom on national television, has failed to surpass the ratings of the last seasons of the show. The first episode of the first season of 'Rakhi Ka Swayamvar', featuring Rakhi Sawant, got a record-breaking TRP of 3.5 for Imagine TV. The debut episode of the second season 'Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jaayega' with Rahul Mahajan got a 2.4 rating.

However, though Ratan got the highest entries of groom on Imagine TV, her stardom has failed to gain TRPs for Imagine TV. The first episode of 'Ratan Ka Rishta' saw 16 prospective grooms for 'Ratan Ka Swayamvar'.

Hmm!! guess the unglamorous look of Ratan in her serial 'Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo' is the reason for the low TRP's, or is that people are bored of the Swayamvar concept all together.
