Reliance announces BIG Indian Comedy Awards

The BIG Indian Comedy Awards is another pioneering and unique initiative from the IP vertical of the Reliance Broadcast stable – BIG Live. The first-of-its-kind comedy awards will applaud & felicitate comic artists across Bollywood and Television. The announcement was made by BIG Live in the presence of celebrities" like Sunil Pal, Anang Desai and some hilarious stand up acts by VIP & Sudesh Lahiri, promising the viewers an evening filled with laugh-riot and masti. The awards are being presented in association with Optimistix, who are known for their expertise in this genre of entertainment.

BIG Live has always relied on innovation and breaking new grounds while conceptualising its properties. Comedy, as a genre, is breaking new grounds both in Bollywood and television, with almost all channels and also top filmmakers choosing the comedy peg to entertain Indian audiences. BIG Indian Comedy Awards is a step ahead by acknowledging and appreciating the work of these talented and brilliant comedy actors, who effortlessly bring laughter and smile on our faces. The winners of the awards will be decided by audience poll. The award categories will spread across Hindi feature films and television (fiction and non-fiction).
