Rishi Kapoor no more on X-Factor

After roping in judges like Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Sonu Nigam, the Indian version of the 'X-Factor', could not afford to rope in veteran Rishi Kapoor as the third judge. The show fell short of budget and couldn't afford the highly paid actor.

They have now signed in singer Salim Merchant to fill the seat of the third judge on the show. It is reported that Rishi Kapoor was on board for the show, but when the channel got confirmations from Sonu Nigam and Sanjay Leela Bhansali, they thought to give Rishi a quit. The reason being that Sonu and Sanjay have charged a huge amount for judging the show.

The channel chose Sonu as he is a celebrated personality among all section of people and Sanjay Leela Bhansali was roped in as he is still free and has not fixed any script for his next film after Guzaarish.

Hmmm!! we wonder how will they rope in Jennifer Lopez if they can't get Rishi Kapoor on board.
