Salman Khan not to have Koffee With Karan?

Earlier, we had reported that Salman Khan is likely to grace one of the final episodes of the celebrity chat show Koffee With Karan. Meanwhile, it was also reported that host Karan Johar and the channel authorities have also given in to the demands of Salman Khan and have donate 50 crores to his charitable organisation Being Human.

However, the recent reports clear that though Karan Johar is very keen on getting Salman Khan on the finale episode of Koffee With Karan, he will not break the trends of the show by any means. Karan can donate any amount to Being Human, but giving it as a fee for bringing Salman on the show, will go against the sanity of Koffee With Karan.

None of the actor be it Shahrukh Khan or Amitabh Bachchan, have been paid for appearing on the couch with Karan. Says a source close to Karan to TOI, “He is happy to give any amount of money to Salman's charity, but he doesn't want it to be a condition for him to come on the show. Also, it is not fair to other stars like the Bachchans and Shahrukh Khan who have appeared on the show in every season, if one pays one actor and not them. So, he decided to leave Salman out for now."
