Sara Khan opens up about split with Ali Merchant

They say marriages are made in heaven which are solemnized on earth but at least in Sara Khan's case, it has not come true. The 28-year-old actress, whose marriage lasted for only two months, has finally opened up on her split with Ali Merchant.

The actress, who became household name with Bigg Boss 4, has responded for those, who called her marriage a publicity stunt. She said that she does not require cheap publicity to become popular. Even before Bigg Boss, Sara has appeared in a few TV shows, which has brought her under the limelight, she adds.

Talking about her marriage, she said that she has moved on and does not want to look back again. She is deeply hurt by his betrayal but she believes in the adage that all that happen is for good. Sara added that she loved him unconditionally but he showed his true face after marriage and broke her trust.

Sara also rubbished Ali Mechant's claims that she is living in the flat, which is owned by him. She responded that she lives in a rented flat and how could he own it, she questions. However, she said that the bitter chapter is closed and she just wants to concentrate on her career.
