Sonu Nigam-Sanjay Bhansali's conflict on X-Factor

Conflict struck the judges of X Factor India on Sony TV, recently. Judges Sonu Nigam, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Shreya Ghoshal got into argument over the elimination for the episode. Sonu's decision to eliminate his own team member Piyush upsets the other judges on the show.

This was followed by an argument between Sonu and Bhansali. Amit and Piyush were fighting for survival in the face off round, where Piyush, who belonged to Sonu's team and had a satisfactory past track record failed to impress his own mentor Sonu Nigam and was voted out by him.

Shreya also voted out Piyush, which automatically made Amit the winner of the face off. Bhansali was upset with the decision making a point that as compared to Amit, Piyush had a good track record, therefore deserved the title more than Amit. Sonu later appologised to Piyush for not standing by his own student but maintained that he could not have given a dishonest opinion about him.
