Veena Malik-Ashmit Patel part ways

The most talked about couple from the Television world, actor Ashmit Patel and Pakistani actress Veena Malik have reportedly parted ways. Though the couple have been claiming that they are 'just friends', the growing closeness between them tells a different story altogether.

Reportedly, Veena got upset when she was not invited for Ameesha Patel's birthday party, though she was in the same city. This gave rise to the problem. Veena was so upset that she left for Pakistan on Friday.

A close friend of Ashmit told TOI, “It was a one-way affair from Veena's side. She loved him, but he did not. I would say that they were never together." He also added, Veena had started planting stories about them in the media, “This really bugged him. Ashmit didn't want that kind of publicity."

Veena's manager also confirmed that Veena is not in India, “Yes, Veena is not in India. She left on Friday. She is in Dubai. She should be back after a week, hopefully."
