Superstar
Aamir
Khan,
who
has
hit
the
right
chords
with
his
much-awaited
and
well
appreciated
TV
show
Satyamev
Jayate,
takes
the
issue
of
female
foeticide
way
beyond.
Aamir
possibly
doesn't
believe
in
limiting
such
serious
issues
only
up
to
his
show.
The
Perfectionist
Khan
has
taken
a
step
ahead
and
decided
to
meet
the
Rajasthan
Chief
Minister
Ashok
Gehlot
in
connection
with
female
foeticide
cases,
highlighted
in
Satyamev
Jayate.
PTI
reports
suggest
that
Aamir
would
request
the
CM
to
set
up
courts
for
clearing
pendency
of
such
cases
in
various
courts
in
the
state.
After
the
expose
of
such
inhumane
activities,
the
Rajasthan
government
had
come
down
heavily
on
the
doctors
who
are
involved
in
sex
determination
tests
and
abortions.
States
like
Rajasthan
and
Haryana
have
the
largest
number
of
female
infanticide
cases.
Aamir
was
seen
expressing
concern
over
the
rampant
practice
of
female
foeticide
in
Rajasthan
and
other
areas
in
the
first
episode
of
Satyamev
Jayate,
aired
on
Sunday.
