Superstar
Aamir
Khan
has
been
receiving
applauds
from
every
nook
and
corner
of
the
nation
for
his
TV
show
Satyamev
Jayate.
But,
the
show's
first
episode
of
female
foeticide
has
not
been
well
appreciated
by
a
Rajasthan
minister
as
he
feels
that
Aamir
is
greedy
for
money.
Minister
of
State
for
Health,
Rajkumar
Sharma
informed
the
PTI
that
the
Rajasthan
Government
has
been
working
on
the
female
foeticide
issue
even
before
Aamir's
show.
Hence,
it
is
not
because
of
the
actor
that
the
Govt
is
working
against
female
foeticide.
Sharma
further
told
the
PTI,
"He
(Aamir)
himself
has
said
that
he
is
an
entertainer
and
cannot
work
longer
on
one
topic,
that
simply
means
what
he
is
doing
is
for
monetary
gains.
If
he
really
wants
to
work
on
this
issue
then
I
welcome
him
to
work
here
on
ground."
Well
Mr
Sharma,
that
was
quite
rude.
No
wonder
that
every
state
do
take
initiatives
against
social
issues
like
female
foeticide
and
infanticide,
but
do
people
actually
follow
it.
If
the
Govt
is
seriously
working
against
such
issues,
then
why
does
female
foeticide
and
hatred
towards
females
still
prevail
in
our
society?
It
should
also
be
noted
that
India,
being
a
Bollywood
obsessed
nation,
worship
their
favourite
stars.
Hence,
a
single
word
uttered
by
stars
like
Big
B,
Aamir
Khan,
SRK
is
more
than
enough
to
provoke
the
mass
to
walk
on
the
right
path.
