Amitabh Bachchan to replace Madhuri Dixit on Life Ok?

Amitabh Bachchan, who is all set to host the sixth season of Kaun Banega Crorepati, will soon play a completely new role on the small screen.

According to reports, Amitabh Bachchan will replace Madhuri Dixit as the Sutradhar of Life Ok channel. Madhuri's one year contract as Life Ok's Sutradhar is about to end. So, the channel is planning to take Big B to play the new Sutradhar.

Amitabh Bachchan was Life Ok's first choice as the narrator. But because of his prior commitments, the channel signed Madhuri Dixit.

Madhuri Dixit, on the other hand, played a very big hand in making Life Ok channel so successful in just one year. She took it to a new level by throwing open discussion on social issues like dowry and widow remarriage.

The head honcho of Life Ok Channel, Ajit Thakur said in a recent interview that when Madhuri Dixit left the country for her marriage and children, she displayed an exemplary sense of responsibility. And her moral correctness worked just right for the channel. But now that Madhuri's tenure is coming to an end, the channel has decided to go back to it's first choice, Amitabh Bachchan.

Amitabh Bachchan is surly the right choice to play the Sutradhar of Life Ok because after Madhuri Dixit, he is the only one who has the capability to take the channel to the next level.
