Anu Malik: Indian Idol is aped by all

Anu Malik, who will soon be back with the sixth season of Indian Idol is extremely thrilled about this season of the music reality show and said that other shows are merely copying them.

Anu Malik, who is the only person associated with Indian Idol since the beginning of the show said that he loves returning to the show since past six years, he has noticed talent from every strata of society. The singer cum music composer added that he valued people immensely for their talent.

When asked about the addition of legendary singer Asha Bhosle as the new judge, Anu Malik said, "That is the channel's call and I didn't even ask them. They can have 10 judges if they want. I am concerned about myself as people love to watch me on the show." Anu Malik along with Sunidhi Chauhan and Salim Merchant are the other judges of Indian Idol.

Anu Malik made it a point to mention that Asha Bhosle is extremely sharp and with her immense experience, she would be able to bring in an edge to the show.
