Bade Acche Lagte Hain – July 18 serial update

Last night's episode of Bade Acche Lagte Hain began with the winners being announced at the lucky draw. Ram aka Ram Kapoor is the special guest who is giving out the prize to the winners. Peehu Sharma (Ram and Priya's daughter) bags the second prize. When she goes up to the stage to collect her prize, Ram congratulates her and tells that she has got a dinner prize at a 5-star hotel with her parents. He further tells her that he is staying in room number 3206 in the same hotel and invites her to meet him with her mom and dad.

Peehu tells Ram that the wish that she asked her dad is already fulfilled, Ram asks if her father was around. She tells him that her mother is around and adds that mom is not less than her dad. When a few business university students approach Ram for autograph, Pihu asks him if he was a film star though he doesn't look like one! Ram laughs at her innocence. Photographer asks Ram to pose for a picture with Peehu and he hands over one picture to Ram and one to Pihu. Ram asks Peehu for autograph in his copy of the picture. Later, while in his hotel room, Ram looks fondly at the picture and says to himself that everytime he meets or thinks about the girl, he can't help smiling.

Peehu runs to the book shop and hugs her mother. She informs her about her prize and says that she has no new clothes to wear that evening to the five-star hotel. Peehu is willing to wear an old dress of hers since she knows that Priya is struggling with money matters. Priya gets very emotional and hugs Peehu, with tears in her eyes. Peehu then hands the picture (taken with Ram) to Priya. However, Priya notices a hoarding outside, drops the photograph and runs outside and finds Kady who explains some marketing techniques. Meanwhile, Peehu tells herself that her mom is careless and so decides to keep the picture safely with her.

Back in India, Vikram and Neha are celebrating their wedding anniversary. At the party, both Ayesha and Shipra come in dressed up in the same saree (white with red border) and Neha remarks that they looked like twins. The two start pulling each other's legs and get into a 'not-so-impolite' verbal spat.

At the party, Sudhir helps Shipra with the dinner plate and tells her that he doesn't get the opportunity to do something for her daily these days. Kartik and Nuts are happy to see Sudhir and Ships dining together after ages as the couple doesn't stay together anymore. Nuts adds that after Priya's death, Ships was in major depression and it was difficult for her to accept the fact that Priya is not with them. Finally Sudhir sent Shipra with Ayesha as he was sure it will help her come out of her depression. Karthik tells his wife that his mom is out of depression but is not back home yet.

Around the time, Shipra notices Ayesha on call with someone and reminds her of her special diet and orders her to eat diet prescribed by dietician and Ayesha says whenever Shipra is not nearby, she can't seem to control her food intake. Sudheer is watching the mother-daughter duo and realises that Shipra has slowly but surely moved away from him.

After the party, Neha and Vikram return to their room and Vikram tells that everyone in the party was complimenting her looks and Neha says that its the first time he didn't give her any gift. Vikram tells her that he has the gift but doesn't know how to give and goes to the cupboard and takes out a cover and presents it to her. Neha finds some documents in it and says that she knew he would gift her the same and signs it and wishes Happy Anniversary and then they start fighting on who will inform the kids about their divorce. Vikram tells her that they will think and decide together and Neha gives him 6 months time to figure out what to do.

At Rajat's house, when he is having breakfast. Kady is shown as stepping out of the house. Dhaijaan asks where is she going and Kady informs that she's going to her friend and added that she would be late.

Rajat asks Kady if she realises that she's been failing for the past 2 years and he's ashamed to tell everyone that she failed twice. He warns Kady that if the same happens this time, he will not help and tells that he wouldn't give her anything if she fails and she has to pass at any cost. Dhaijaan asks Kady not to take Rajat seriously as he cares for her. Kady says that she and Raina are his responsibility and nothing else.

When Dhaijaan confronts Rajat regarding his behaviour with the kids, he tells her that the children reminds him of the lady who ditched him and married someone else and left the kids with him.
