Dimpy Mahajan returns to small screen with Chandrakanta

Dimpy Mahajan, who hogged the limelight with Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayega on NDTV Imagine in 2010, is now making her comeback to small screen again. Now, the better half of Rahul Mahajan can be seen as Icchadhari Naagin in Sahara One's show Kahani Chandrakanta Ki.

The story of Kahani Chandrakanta Ki revolves around Naagin Jwala (a female serpent) and her quest to take revenge from daaku (villain) Mangal Singh. Dimpy Mahajan is now playing Naagin Jwala, who takes revenge on Mangal for killing her beloved Naag Jeewan (a male serpent).

However, excited Dimpy Mahajan says that during her childhood days, she used to watch a lot of mythological shows and she often used to be attracted by their costumes, sets and characters. She adds when the makers of the show approached her for the role, she did not have a second thought about it.
