Small town’s big hope on Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar 2!

Ever wondered what happens when two small town contestants meet? Well, they provide each other great confidence and build up motivation. This is exactly what happened recently on the sets of STAR Plus’ musical reality show Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar Season 2.

Award winning lyricist Swanand Kirkire encouraged Mathura-based contestant Hemant by telling him that people hailing from small towns are much sharper than those based in big cities. Swanand was quick to reveal that Last Year Champion, Kolkata-based Sanchita has done playback singing for many Bengali films and has also been part of a chorus for Shantanu and Swanand in her childhood.

However, Jo Jeeta Wohi Super Star is one of the most-viewed reality television series in India. The success of the first season has the created a new set of audience for its second season and the boss of Star Plus are encouraged by the response they are getting from the viewers.
