Kailash Kher special on The Great Gig in the Sky

Indie Rock followers are in for a real treat this March as BIG CBS SPARK launches their new show, The Great Gig in the Sky. The show will together bring the nature lovers and music lovers in a way like never before. And like a cherry on the cake, the first ever episode of the show will be followed by half an hour special with Indian pop-Rock singer Kailash Kher.

Kailash Kher, who became a household name with his outstanding number ‘Allah ke Bande’ went on to form his band Kailasa. The band has belted out numbers like ‘Teri Deewani’, which made record sales. The special episode will be aired on Friday, March 30 at 9.00 pm.

The half an hour show is an interview with Kailash Kher, where he talks about his musical career, his band ‘Kailasa’, his recently launched album ‘Rangeele’ and the independent music scene in India today and in the future. During the interview Kailash talks about his inspirations and his personal opinions regarding music, he also mentions how some of his lyrics don’t have a meaning, but he uses them because he finds it interesting.

Also aired during the interview will be tracks from the eclectic singer’s upcoming album ‘Rangeele’ and his concert performances. So, catch Kailash’s soulful music on Friday, March 30 at 9 pm only on BIG CBS Spark.
