Kareena, Ranbir to attend Indian Idol 6 grand finale

Mumbai: Actors Kareena Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor who are all set to clash at the Box Office, will reportedly appear on singing reality show Indian Idol 6. The cousins will share the platform to promote their respective films like Heroine and Barfi, which are slated to hit the screens in September

Sources from the B-Town say that Indian Idol 6 will have a grand finale on August 31. Kareena and Ranbir will be coming for the grand finale. The No. 1 Bollywood actress will be spreading a word about her much awaited film Heroine, while her cousin Ranbir will promote his movie Barfi.

Kareena Kapoor is playing the role of superstar Mahi in Madhur Bhandarkar's upcoming movie Heroine, which shows her going through the various phases of an actress' life - from a glamorous high profile innings to a tragic downfall. The much-hyped film is scheduled to release on September 21.

Anurag Basu directed romantic comedy Barfi revolves around Murphy (Ranbir), whom everyone calls Barfi. Always ready with a prank, he is quite a charmer even though he can neither speak nor listen. Priyanka Chopra plays an autistic character, Jhilmil, in the film, which is set to release on September 14.

However, there is also a buzz in B-Town that Kareena and Ranbir would be seen together for the first time on silver screen in Zoya Akhtar's project. The real life cousins would play reel life siblings in the film.
