As
the
curiosity
mounted
minutes
away
from
the
final
decision,
the
3
finalists
of
Jo
Jeeta
Wohi
Superstar
Season
2,
Akanksha,
Sreeram
and
Irfan
broke
into
a
cold
sweat
wondering
if
their
hard
work
had
paid
off.
After
2
months
of
challenges,
training,
mentoring
and
meeting
the
best
in
the
field
of
music,
the
3
finalists
were
ready
to
take
on
their
toughest
challenge
in
the
game.
The
desperation
to
win
was
apparent
in
all
3
contestants.
Irfan
says
this
is
the
first
grand
finale
of
his
career
and
he
desperately
wants
to
win,
Sreeram
says
he
wants
to
give
his
best
shot
and
doesn't
want
to
lose
at
any
cost.
For
Aakanksha,
who
is
the
youngest
amongst
the
3,
it's
a
proud
moment
and
says
she
is
working
really
hard
to
win
the
title.
As
the
challenge
concluded,
the
3
finalists
nervously
stood
waiting
for
the
judges
and
public
votes
to
conspire
in
their
favour.
Bollywood's
sensational
singer
Himesh
Reshammiya
was
the
special
guest
on
this
show
and
he
announced
the
winner.
So
who
wins?
Challenger
Mohammed
Irfan
wins
the
coveted
titled
of
‘Superstar'
and
bags
the
grand
prize
of
Rs
50
lakh!
After
much
hard
work
and
immense
dedication,
challenger
Irfan
from
Hyderabad
not
only
made
it
to
the
champions
side
but
outshone
all
other
contestants
on
the
show.
His
triumph
has
been
well
deserved
with
weeks
of
sincere
effort
and
mentoring
under
Shantanu
Moitra.
"He
was
quiet
but
very
dynamic.
And
he
slowly
worked
his
way
up.
He
has
a
great
voice
and
he
honed
his
skill
beautifully
over
weeks
of
training.
He
surely
is
the
best
man
to
win," says
Shantanu
Moitra,
judge
and
mentor
of
Mohammed
Irfan.
Champion
Sreeram,
again
from
Hyderabad,
was
declared
the
runner-up
of
the
show
after
rigorous
mentoring
under
Shaan.
In
the
beginning
of
the
show,
Reshammiya
had
announced
that
the
runner-up
will
get
to
sing
a
song
in
his
upcoming
film
and
he
will
ensure
that
the
song
is
the
blockbuster
of
the
year!
Sreeram
was
thrilled
at
winning
this
opportunity
as
well.
Apart
from
the
drama
surrounding
the
final
3
contestants
while
they
were
waiting
for
the
nail-biting
finish,
we
got
a
whiff
of
drama
cooking
up
at
the
judges
table
as
well.
Rahul
Vaidya,
the
winner
of
Season
1,
who
was
anchoring
the
finale
episode
with
the
gorgeous
Mandira
Bedi,
was
at
his
flirtatious
best;
Vaidya
was
pulling
all
stops
to
woo
the
lady!
The
finale
episode
of
Jo
Jeeta
Wohi
Superstar
Season
2
had
all
the
drama
and
masti
for
the
grand
finish
-
lots
of
singing,
some
tears,
inspiring
judges
and
mentors
and
the
intensity
that
proved
that
to
win,
you
have
to
be
the
best.
