Rakhi Sawant slams Aamir Khan's Satyamev Jayate over plagiarism issue

It looks like the trend of plagiarism will soon witness it's popularity on the small screens as well. Aamir Khan's new TV show Satyamev Jayate has given an opportunity to the loud-mouth Rakhi Sawant for some plagiarism accusations.

During an interview with a leading daily, Rakhi said that Satyamev Jayate is a complete copy of her show Rakhi ka Insaaf. She further said that Satyamev Jayate makers have stolen her show's format and just because Aamir Khan is the centre of attraction, the show is being aired in the morning slot and gaining immense popularity.

Rakhi Ka Insaaf, which was aired on NDTV imagine was controversial for Sawant's use of obscene language. The show was slammed by the Information & Broadcasting Ministry of the Indian Government as well as the Allahabad High Court.

On the other hand, singer Palash Sen had accused the music composer of the title track of Satyamev Jayate of stealing tunes from one of his songs. Sen had filed a case against Ram Sampath, music director of the Satyamev Jayate title track.
