Star
India,
the
makers
of
the
show
Satyamev
Jayate,
have
denied
the
allegations
made
by
the
Euphoria.
Sai
Krishna
Rajagopal,
the
lawyer
of
the
show,
says
that
their
copyright
claims
are
baseless
and
they
want
to
garner
publicity
by
making
claims.
The
TV
channel
is
not
going
to
consider
their
claim
as
serious
stuff.
Earlier,
Palash
Sen
had
sent
a
legal
notice
to
the
Star
India
claiming
that
parts
of
the
Satyamev
Jayate
anthem
had
been
lifted
from
Euphoria's
old
song
'Satyameva
Jayate'.
He
had
added
that
the
chorus
of
his
song
had
been
copied
for
the
anthem.
He
had
urged
the
bosses
to
give
acknowledgment
to
the
original
creators.
In
a
reply
to
the
Euphoria's
legal
notice,
Star
India
bosses
say
that
their
allegations
are
baseless
and
they
do
not
agree
with
their
claims.
They
add
that
there
is
no
case.
Neither
they
would
give
acknowledgment
to
the
original
creators,
nor
consider
it
as
something
to
be
taken
further.
However,
Palash
Sen
is
very
upset
with
the
arrogant
reply
of
Star
India.
He
says
that
they
wanted
an
amicable
solution.
So
instead
of
taking
the
issue
to
the
court,
they
had
sent
a
letter
in
the
first
place.
Now,
the
Euphoria
has
determined
to
take
the
case
to
the
court
to
get
the
justice.
