Tina Dutta to play mother, daughter post leap in Uttaran

Uttaran actress Tina Dutta will now essay the role of both mother and daughter once the soap opera on Colors takes a 20 year leap on March 26th.

Taking 10-20 year leap is becoming a common phenomenon in Hindi serials. Not long ago, Ekta Kapoor's serial Pavitra Rishta took a 20 year leap with young Ankita Lokhande, who plays Archana in the serial being shown as a mother of grown up adults. Tina Dutta will now follow suit, since she is going to have to do a double role in Uttaran when the show takes a 20 year leap.

Tina Dutta, who now plays the role of a young married woman Ichcha in Uttaran is extremely excited about performing a double role. Tina apparently went to colleges in Kolkata to understand how teenagers behave.
