Bollywood
actor
Aamir
Khan
is
facing
the
wrath
of
doctors
for
highlighting
malpractices
in
the
medical
profession
in
the
fourth
episode
of
his
TV
talk
show
Satyamev
Jayate.
Now,
an
umbrella
body
of
21
medical
institutions
has
asked
Mr
Perfectionist
to
apologise
for
accusing
doctors
of
malpractices.
In
the
fourth
episode
of
his
show
Satyamev
Jayate,
Aamir
Khan
highlighted
unethical
practices,
corruption
and
scandalous
revelations
in
medical
treatment.
Talking
about
it,
Himanshu
Mehta,
the
co-founder
of
Medscape
India,
said,
"It
is
rather
sad
that
doctors
should
be
made
the
object
of
such
shameless,
unilateral
scrutiny."
Talking
to
AINS,
Medscape
president
Sunita
Dube
said,
"Aamir
Khan
is
my
favourite
actor
and
he
should
stick
to
making
films.”
Sunita
added,
"Surprisingly,
no
doctors
body
has
spoken
against
Aamir
yet.
We
need
to
stand
united
against
such
blatant
lies.
We
are
going
to
write
a
scathing
letter
demanding
an
apology
from
him.”
However,
many
doctors
across
the
country
are
very
upset
over
Aamir
Khan's
act.
A
disappointed
doctor
says
that
many
people
do
not
understand
the
pressures
of
the
profession.
Another
doctor
asks
asks,
"Where
is
Aamir
Khan
when
doctors
are
assaulted?”
Now,
will
Aamir
Khan
understand
doctors'
pain
and
tender
his
apology?
