and
we
wanted
Buddha's
story
to
unfold
in
all
its
splendour
and
reach
out
to
the
largest
denominator
of
people
possible.
Only
TV
can
give
us
that
reach," Modi,

long

"I
am
playing
a
sage
who
foresees
the
coming
of
the
Buddha,"
he
said.
It
is
also
said
that
the
show
Buddha
will
be
showcased
in
the
same
slot
as
the
one
which
belonged
to
shows
like
Mahabharat,
Ramayan
and
also
Aamir
Khan's
popular

Satyamev
Jayate.
B.K.

happy
with
the
