How TV Channels Wished Viewers On Raksha Bandhan

On the occasion of Raksha Bhandhan, most of the television channels have wished their viewers in their own way.

Though there are not many shows based on the brother sister relationships, there definitely are brother and sister roles on many channels. One of the show that exclusively is about the story of a brother and sister is Veera, Ek Veer Ki Ardaas.

Zee TV's Qubool Hai on the other hand had the characters of the show Asad and his sister Najma, played by Karan Singh Grover and Neha Laxmi celebrating Raksha Bhandhan by tying the Rakhi on the sets.

In today's times when most of the shows exclusively dealing with stories that revolve around lovebirds, it is very difficult to find a good show that deals with the sweet relationship between a brother and a sister.

Ekta Kapoor who makes shows on every relationship possible has not made one show based on this relationship. Ekta who is very close to her brother Tushar Kapoor should have made such a show by now just as an experiment too. Guess TRP ratings take priority here.

Anyways, until someone comes up with a show that can deal with this beautiful relationship and also compete with mainstream television shows, we will have to stick with watching love stories.
