Actress
turned
Rajya
Sabha
MP
Jaya
Bachchan
and
wife
of
the
living
legend
Amitabh
Bachchan
is
all
set
to
make
her
television
debut
in
Sony
TV's
Vasundhara,
a
show
conceptualised
and
based
on
the
Gujarati
Novel
'Yog-Viyog'
written
by
Hiralal
Upadhyay.
Vasundhara
is
a
serial
that
would
depict
the
life
of
a
single
parent,
her
strive
to
run
the
family
and
manage
it
to
the
best.
It
would
be
a
new
theme
and
something
out
of
the
box
from
the
regular
TV
soaps.
Amitabh
Bachchan
is
already
making
headlines
for
coming
as
a
lead
in
Anurag
Kashyap's
TV
show
and
now
its
Jaya's
turn
to
make
a
remarkable
debut
as
her
hubby
already
sets
a
benchmark
to
it.
The
show
which
is
an
Endemol
India
production
venture,
will
also
be
a
re-union
of
sorts
between
Jaya
Bachchan
and
Sony
TV.
Earlier,
the
actress
had
produced
the
comic
show,
Dekh
Bhai
Dekh
for
the
channel.
What
sound's
interesting
is
both
hubby
Amitabh
and
wife
Jaya
will
be
doing
shows
for
the
same
channel.
Now
it
should
be
seen
whose
show
hits
the
screen
first
as
it
would
bring
in
more
conversations
over
the
popularity.
The
last
movie
which
Jaya
Bachchan
was
associated
with
was
Paa,
where
she
introduced
the
characters
of
the
film,
before
this
she
had
worked
in
the
movie
Drona
as
Queen
Jayanti.
