Photos: Jhalak Dikhla Jaa Season 6 launched

Most awaited dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa launched its Season 6 edition on Monday amidst the judges of the show - Madhuri Dixit, Karan Johar and Remo D'Souza and contestant's performances.

Director-producer Karan Johar was also seen shaking his leg on stage with the dancing queen Madhuri herself and also with the talented choreographer Remo. Karan said his colleague and choreographer Remo has taken upon himself to teach him some moves during the period of the show. The successful director said though he is not a good dancer, since it is a dance show, he has to do it. There were also performances by Madhuri and Remo, knowing the talents of duo, it is not needed to explain how they set the stage on fire with their steps.

Starting June 1, the dance reality show will showcase the dancing abilities of 12 contestants like television actors Drashti Dhami, Shweta Tiwari, Karanvir Bohra, Siddharth Shukla and singer Shaan, among others.

Remo said that, the challenge for the contestants is to show him something which he has not seen before. Madhuri however, said that, its all about the amount of energy they put into it. They also mentioned that the first couple of episodes will see the Veteran actor Dharmendra.

The show is ready to start and the contestants are ready to perform their best in front of India. It's only about time when they finally appear on television and razzle-dazzle us every week.

Karan who is a very good director but not a very impressive dancer performed during the launch. He danced with the dancing queen Madhuri herself.

Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri Dixit, the actress who is very famous for her dancing skills was interacting with the contestants.

Remo D'Souza

Remo D'Souza, dancer-choreographer, has taken upon himself to teach Karan to dance before the show ends.

Madhuri-Karan

Madhuri and Karan's performance was the highlight of the launch. Karan, for someone who does not know how to dance, gave a brilliant performance.
