Fire On Kapil Sharma's Comedy Nights With Kapil Sets!

Fire broke out on the sets of Kapil Sharma's show Comedy Nights With Kapil. Though there are no causalities, there was a massive damage caused to the property.

A source from the sets informs, "We were unaware about the mishap. We got to know about the fire today morning around 8:00 am. We immediately rushed to the sets at Filmcity and noticed that the entire set had collapsed due to fire outburst."

The shoot was scheduled for 2 pm later in the day. "Thankfully, the crowd was less. If the mishap would have happened in presence of a large audience, then the scenario could have turned ugly," said a source.

When contacted Ali Asgar better known as Dadi of Comedy Nights said, "It's really sad. I am completely surprised and shocked. But, it's good to hear that nobody is injured." He further went on to add, "Hamare show ko nazar lag gai (someone cast en evil eye on the show)."

When asked if he has received any details on the shooting, he remained clueless, "I have no idea about any of it. The news is yet to sink in."

We also tried contacting Kapil, but he remained unavailable for comment. The reason for the fire is still unknown and investigation is still on.

Singer Sonu Nigam, who was expected to enter the show as a guest celebrity, posted on Twitter saying: "Can you all imagine?! I get prepared for 'Comedy Nights with Kapil', and the set burns into ashes the same day."

This is not first of such instances and apparently many television show sets are at high vulnerability during monsoon. Recently, the sets of Housewife Hai Sab Jaanti Hai turned into ashes and now unfortunately the sets of Colors Comedy Nights with Kapil.

Hoping the successful show that has been making the viewers ROFL will stand tall again very soon and continue to entertain us.

Kapil tweeted at 3 PM today saying, "V all r fine.thnks for ur concern..need ur best wishes..v wl b back for all of u..love u all."
