Pavitra Rishta Leap Postponed: Too Many Confusions And Tensions!
Seems like confusions and tensions are not leaving Zee TV's Pavitra Rishta. Too many tensions are surrounding Pavitra Rishta - on and off screen. Previously, the tensions started with the leap as many youngsters had put down their papers since they didn't want to play the older role. Now the confusion is again about the leap! People have started loving Soham and Gauri's story and the leap has been postponed.
According to sources, the leap was supposed to take place in the month of September, but it has been postponed to October end or in the beginning of November. The reason for this confusion is Soham (Ankit Narang) and Gauri's (Priyanka Kandwal) story. But this is good news for fans as they can see their favourite characters till the leap happens.
Now coming to the story, we had earlier predicted that Soham would confess his love to Gauri and would happily get married. A part of it was right as Soham confessed his love to Gauri, but Archana (Ankita Lokhande), who plays mother to Soham, had some other plans. She decided to marry her other son Sachin to Gauri, unknown about the fact that Soham is in love with Gauri.

Sachin And Gauri
Now that Sachin and Gauri's marriage is fixed, good Soham turns villain again and takes bad route. He is behind Gauri, trying to stop the marriage. This is troubling Gauri and Archana's family.
Arjun-Purvi-Soham
Soham had broken the trust of all his close people in the house. Police are in search of Soham who takes shelter in Purvi's (Asha Negi) house. Purvi as a sister helps him, without telling anyone in her house not even Arjun (Rithvik Dhanjani). This puts Purvi in trouble when her servant complain police that Soham is in her house. Arjun is arrested, saying he gave shelter to criminal. Now Arjun is angry with Purvi as she didn't tell about Soham to him. He stops talking to Purvi and starts ignoring her.
Archana-Purvi
Even Archana, Manav, Ovi and Teju are avoiding Purvi. When Purvi tries convincing Archana, she lashes back saying that she has broken trust of her own family by helping Soham who is a gunda (Criminal).
Purvi-DK
The only person to support Purvi is DK sir, Purvi father-in-law and Arjun's father. He says Archana that Purvi hasn't done any crime and it was a mistake that she trusted Soham.
Purvi Pregnant Again!
Things changes and love blossom again between the two as it is reported that Purvi gets pregnant with second baby. Arjun is very happy to know about this and starts taking more care of Purvi. Arjun starts cooking for Purvi and his father will be quite surprised to see all these.
Ankit Suffering From Dengue
The twist is, Soham (Ankit Narang), whose story in the serial is turning interesting is diagnosed with dengue and he decided to go back to his family in Surat. Now it should be seen how Soham-Gauri's story will run!
Post Leap - Karan Mehra In Pavitra Rishta!
Coming to the leap... It was reported that Ankita would play Pari (Purvi's daughter). According to a leading daily, the latest we hear is actor Karan Mehra of Amrit Manthan fame may play the male lead opposite the younger Ankita, or he may be seen as the parallel lead.
Sheeba Chaddha
Sheeba Chaddha, who was seen in movies like Dil Se and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and also in small screen in Hitler Didi may play an important role in Pavitra Rishta. According to TOI, Sheeba may play the role of Karan Mehra's mother.
Manish Goel
It was reported that Manish Goel of Kasautii Zindagi Kay fame, was approached to play Ankita Lokhande's father in the serial! Manish has rejected the offer saying he can play opposite Ankita but not an older role, as her father in the serial.
