Pavitra Rishta’s Leap Upsets; Audience Wants The Show To Go Off Air!

Zee TV's Pavitra Rishta has been in news for various reasons. Just when everything was going well in the show, the makers announced the leap. The show already had many leaps and fans were not happy with yet another leap.

Pavitra Rishta was counted one among Top 10 Television shows based on their TRPs. This leap has changed the audience mind negatively and there has been a big fall in its TRPs. The show has been running from past four years and had crossed 1,000 episodes.

Previously, audience were not happy when Sushant Singh Rajput (Manav) was replaced by Hiten Tejwani, but they accepted the show as Hiten-Ankita Lokhande's (Archana) chemistry was good as well. Later, they introduced new characters with Archana-Manav's children. This was also accepted too.

As it's said, there is a limit in everything. The show was dragged further with their (Archana-Manav's) children finding their love and getting married (Arjun-Purvi played by Rithvik Dhanjani-Asha Negi). Again a leap with their children (Pari played by Ruhee Bagga) made the audience lose interest and patience. This also created confusion as many things post 20-year leap was kept under wraps and is slowly being revealed now.

When we said Manav (Hiten) may quit the show, and Pavitra Rishta's only saving grace are - Ankita, Arjun, Purvi - fans expressed their anger on blog and social networking sites saying the show has been dragged too much and should go off air.

This show should be closed now,i will quit the show when hiten gonna leave it.watching only for him,otherwise who is intrested in same old ghissi pitti storyline....meanwhile they should rename it as apvitra rishta.

A bit disappointed in the series, need to know what happened to gauri, purvi second baby,arjun and ovi,etc etc etc pls need some answers oh not forgetting soham second wife.

I watch pavitra rishta only for arjun and purvi waiting for them to reunite they r the life of the show if rithvik asha quitted i would never watch this crap leap.

This leap is a total flop with haphazard tracks and jumping of stories. They separated Arjun-Purvi and didn't even finish Soham's track. Hope this crazy show shuts down soon.

This show is just utterly crappy now and it should have ended instead of taking a leap. Why drag out the inevitable?
Ure right - ppl are now watching just to see their faves. Not for any story or entertainment purposes.
I wish Hiten nothing but the best and may he leave this show while he can!
