Pavitra Rishta: Will Ankita Sacrifice Her Love Shashank And Marry Naren For Her Family?

In Pavitra Rishta, Ankita (Ankita Lokhande), who has the responsibility of her whole family, is proposed for marriage by Naren's mother Rushaali. Ankita works in Naren's company and his mother was smitten by her simplicity. Naren's mother promises that she will take care of Ankita's family if she marry his son.

Ankita already has a proposal from Shashank, who loves her. But the twist here is Shashank's mother doesn't like Ankita, and likes Ankita's younger sister, Manasi and wants him to marry her.

Now Ankita is in dilemma as Shashank is adamant to marry Ankita at any cost. Ankita says she wants to marry Shashank that night and asks his permission to meet his parents. Ankita asks his mother for marriage, but she disagrees. His mother even keeps a condition saying she will allow her to marry him only if Ankita's siblings do not come to their home. But Ankita disagrees and says Shashank the fact that she was proposed for marriage by Naren's mother, who has taken initiative to take care of her family.

Shashank is shocked, and says just because someone has taken initiative to take care of her family, she will marry him and sacrifice her love? Ankita requests him to not to take her in a wrong way. She says, she is not right person for him and to marry her sister Mansi and make his parents happy too.

Naren, on the other hand, has a flashback of his love story which is kept as a secret. With all what is shown in the show, we have to assume that he was in love with a girl named Ahana, who has either ditched him or is dead because of which Naren is lost in his own world sometimes. He also thinks his girl "Ahana" is Ankita. It is this reason that Naren's mother Rushaali asks Ankita to marry Naren. Rushaali also thinks Ankita is right person for Naren and can take care of him, which can bring him back to normal.

Ankita finally decides to marry Naren and goes to their house to convey the same. Rushaali decides to arrange their engagement the next day. But, it should be seen if Ankita will marry Naren or will Naren's brother cause any trouble in their marriage, or will Shashank allow her to marry Naren as he is madly in love with her?
