TV Actress Sakshi Parikh Runs SUV Over People

Television actress Sakshi Parikh witnessed an accident today (August 2). Her SUV hit five people, killing one and leaving four others injured. The accident took place in Kandivali area of Mumbai. Sakshi has been taken into police custody.

A source confirms that Sakshi was driving the vehicle at a very high speed. Since she was unable to control the speed, her car ran into a different lane where it hit a car, a motorcycle and an auto rickshaw. Her SUV hit the other vehicles so hard that the man driving motorcycle died on spot and the others have been admitted to the Bhagwati Hospital.

There is no confirmation on whether Sakshi was drunk at the time she was driving or not. The Police have begun investigating the matter.

This is not the first time actors have shown their recklessness in public. The previous such incident was from the Bollywood actor Salman Khan and the case will soon be coming into court again.

The latest update in this issue is that the Police has said she is not an actress, but a housewife. It is said that she might have been under the impression that she would be let off if she said she was an actress.

We have to wait a little while longer to get confirmation regarding this.
